Thanks to you, ACR! I'm still trying to follow my own advice. My friend R. keeps quoting to me, things I said around the time I was still on that one page a day plan. I agree with him, I was bright back then. This suggests to me that I may soon be bright again.
creative production does not take shape in one form: the glorious book publication. it can and I hope it does for you again, for me too.
Ambitions and desires aside, in academic circles, how luminous we are seems so tied to that academic dog bone, and I am sick of salivating over it --wagging my tail and keeping my tongue out.
ugly isn't it?
[it's especially humilating image for us Arabs who don't exactly enjoy canine company. I won't speak for everyone, but I know being compared to a kelba is rude and crude. hey, what can I say? i like to push the envelope. There are other connotations that I won't go into. someone might catch it and say a word about it, but I say leave it alone.]
blogging has saved my writing life. I don't have fear of putting down a few words a day then going to my other writing project(s).
I'll visit you again. one page a day. I am listening to you.
