VONA

I returned from VONA workshop at USF. The vibe with these WOC was incredible. I have never attended a reading where every single writer was incredible: 48 of us

VONA Lessons:

• I just need to write my ass off and quit whining to myself and others.
• I want to write and I am a writer.
  
• Revision and discipline will make you a published writer.
• Be less concerned with publishing, editors, agents, etc. and worry about craft.
• Absorb, trust, and get on with it.
• Learn salsa so you can party with the heavy weight fiction writers who were serious partiers!
