al-iraqi forums
In my pursuit for Leftie Iraqis -especially Chaldeans in particular, I found this interesting community. I still have not found one yet. Jeff? insideassyria is my guy and who else????
Arab Diaspora musings/news, diatribes, specifically knocks on academe, bits and pieces of knots and no linear narratives

I appreciate some of the views found in the aliraqi forums, since they come as a cut throut from arabic genra way of thinking, but in the same time, i find biases, very much pro Bush adminstration, and you can find many secterian views there, which i despise and depresses me as an Iraqi.
Not alot of leftist you will find there, probably only few and they do not go there that often.
I did think some of the comments just outrageous and also responding to them became exhausting. What's the point? I have a hundred right wing cousins, so if I want to have these sorts of conversations, I can just wait until the next family gathering!
I am glad you showed up here and said these kind words of solidarity. It makes me feel a little less depressed! thanks for visiting my blog. you are INTO THE SUN?
oh i like your blog, it is quite different from many other Iraqi blogs.
I think we need more Iraqis that can look at the situation in Iraq from a point of view that is not necessarily in need to champion some political entity for the sake of being reactionary.
we need to look at the situation as it is, and try to fix it.
and am i not the sun, i hope i will reach it and be enlightened, it is a long path :D
